Have you always wanted to learn more about making beats programming synths using effects and resampling audio?

Then this is the course for you. In an informal atmosphere I will take you through the in and outs of music production in Ableton Live and help you producing your own tracks. There will be the opportunity to do a LIVE SHOWCASE of your work at our venue at the end of the course.

The course will be taught in English.

When: Every Thursday 6-8 PM from January 18 to March 14, 2024. NO CLASS on 22.2 due to previous arrangements.

What you will need:

• A computer with Ableton Live installed. You can install the 90 day free trial here:  https://www.ableton.com/trial
• Headphones (mandatory) - ideally no bluetooth/no earphones etc
• A MIDI keyboard (optional)
• Pen and paper (optional)

About  the artist teaching you: Gianna is a professional music producer and  songwriter with an extensive teaching experience as a university  lecturer in Music Production Music Theory and Songwriting. In recent  years she has taught in London at Abbey Road Institute ICMP and The  Royal College of Music.

About the venue: 800A is a Cocktail bar events venue & theatre space with a laid back  atmosphere in the heart of Wedding which hosts theatre language and  music courses and acting classes.
